DIRTY LARY (Lary Saladin) is a Chicago based Electronic Music Producer and DJ, who grew up to the sounds of 80′s House, Italo-Disco, New Wave music, and Guns N’ Roses.

Dirty Lary started out on the music scene by writing lyrics and recording vocals for other producers until 2001, when he started booking live performances in Chicago and Las Vegas. In addition to performing in a Las Vegas talent showcase in 2003, Dirty Lary has shared the stage with legendary Hip-Hop recording artists, Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock (“It Takes Two”) as well as House music diva, Jessica Eve of Who Da Funk (“Shiny Disco Balls”).

Dirty Lary credits his passion and musical pursuits to many musical influences including: Giorgio Moroder, Prince, Depeche Mode, New Order and Kavinsky, to name a few. Dirty Lary’s main genres are House and Techno, but he is no stranger to other electronic music genres. Currently, Dirty Lary works on original production and remixes for many labels as well as his own label, Phunk Junk Records. Launched in 2012, Phunk Junk Records has over 200 releases available in digital download stores online. Dirty Lary also currently works with other record labels and artists across the globe by doing original production and remix work. Dirty Lary has been fortunate to be mentioned and featured in online publications, such as: Urban Music Connection Magazine,  HypeAccess Online, Silent Dream Weekly, The Chicago Insider, 312 Audio and Behind The Decks.

Recently in July 2015, “Bumps,” an original track by Carmen Fiorentino & Dirty Lary, peaked at #76 on the Techno Top 100 chart on Beatport, a very important chart on the most popular digital download store used by DJ’s across the globe to track the popularity of releases. The track was released by Chicago label, Afterdark Recordings, and was listedon the charts with well known Techno artists such as Pig&Dan, Jay Lumen and other great producers.

Now, with Dirty Lary focusing on being a DJ as well, he is a weekly resident on Strictly Dance Radio’s “In The Mix” show along with other podcast/online radio shows. He has played at Chicago venues such as Spybar, one of the city’s hottest night spot destinations that has ranked one of the top nightclubs in the United States, as well as multiple gigs for Sunrise Deep, the hottest after-hour parties in the city of Chicago, as well as other great venues and events. He has opened for Chicago legendary DJ’s including; Paul Johnson and Gene Hunt. He is currently crafting himself to become a pioneer in the modern Techno scene.

Going forward, Dirty Lary is working on a modernized/updated style infused with his old-school style background. He fully supports the independent dance music scene worldwide.
